I recreated the original Pokemon Map into an end table

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I used a map i found online originally by Highland Loch and made it into a resin map table. Here is a link to their original work - Pokemon: Kanto & Johto β€” Highland Loch

Using this map as a base, i was able to generate a laser file after many days of editing. I used this file to laser cut out all the pieces and then just went for it. I ended up having to attempt this twice. The first attempted I used too much glue which resulted in needed to scrap the entire thing. I have a video up showing how I made it here - https://youtu.be/Us1AGSZ3Mos

Thank you all!

Lovely video too!

The ability to β€œmessy” paint over masking in order to get clean crisp lines through the engraved/scored parts is so powerful, and yet so many miss it
