Very cool. I love the detail work.
I have been playing around with the same type of construction ever since i saw that globes that went around last year.
I even made a 20 sided dice for my brother in-law for Christmas based on the globe model i had.

Here are a few simple geometric solid models I designed and made with medium draftboard, all pieces just snap to fit. A good starting point for making prettier designs
