I recall GF’s Instagram did a tutorial on a bottle opener in which they used masking tape instead of laser marking solution. I can’t seem to find it anymore, but I think it might’ve been in their stories. I just remember it was green masking tape.
Does anyone remember it? And, why was masking tape used instead of laser marker?

I was more wondering about the process with metal as opposed to the bottle opener. I checked the previous posts and couldn’t find the tutorial. I was hoping for someone who could explain the technical behind it, if the video was no longer available. Specifically, masking tape versus marking formula. Thanks though! 
It might have been Cermark tape.
