This is so perfect! I have been reading about people in the community creating a dased line for their projects and I am delighted it is so easy!!! Going to be in my computer all day trying all these tips out! Thank you Jules!!!

Just want to remind folks that there is an extension that converts the stroked dashes into actual dashed paths of any line that you make.

Just a forwarding note… Much of what I added to a post on Creating a circular dashed line for perforating applies here as well, with the point being that it applies to more complex shapes rather than simple paths. I think that these two topics should be combined, IMO.

Just to simplify this a bit… Starting with a red-filled solid black stroke circle: [image] Change it to NO-fill, and assign a dash from the stroke menu: [image] Sidenote: Don’t bother trying to use the Convert to Dashes extension at this point.
