Well, what happens when you try to export a path? What it gives you is a blank space with no name or suggested file type. So no guts no glory I called it name.svg and tried loading it in Inkscape…
Gimp makes a much easier and cleaner path than Inkscape’s trace, and the can go boolean crazy with them and export many at once saving as an example trying to remove the cutline from the engrave lines or even several engrave lines. as offset is much cleaner also.
Btw the image is not a part of what travels only the path.
Never had that issue. “Smooth corners” and “Optimize” (especially on dirty images) trace bitmap options make the difference there, but glad you found a better solution for your workflow.
