Saw this article today, has some interesting ways to do joints.
I’m sure we can figure out ways to laser these.

I have always liked the Japanese joinery, I had a book on the how to, just never had the time or space to put it into practice.
However I will be using a few of the joints on my Glowforge table.
No better time than now.
