I’m looking for more materials that are laser safe. I’m wondering if anyone has cut the wall panels that are MDF but have a patterned layer on top. I need to cut a single word using the pass through and I like the look of the barnwood wall paneling for this. I have a table saw to cut the size I need from a 4x8 foot panel but not sure it will be laser safe.

No idea what “MDD” is, but look if the material has a safety data sheet so you can determine what it’s made from and whether any of the material contains chlorine or other harmful components.
Typo! I meant MDF. Thanks, I’ll see if I can find that saftey sheet.
