Is this okay to do - using the outline of a GF in a logo

How is there even a debate about using someone else’s trademark as part of your logo? It’s illegal. That’s the whole point of a trademark.

As for whether the independent shop down the street is using a logo with permission or not, it’s irrelevant. People ignore trademarks all the time; that doesn’t make it legal or wise.

I like this one, but I’m not sure it’s clear that that is a laser without context. It may not matter to you, but it’s something to consider.

If I do this design, it will probably be a laser animation that fades into regular type.

What if you put an “X” shape where the laser beam touches your lettering like the laser danger signs. :thinking:
