Photo frames are always useful, but it’s hard to find nice ones sometimes. So, I made a few of my own.
How fun are these dots? I wanted to paint the dots different colours, but I was in too much of a hurry to put it together.
Something a little more sophisticated? I saw Herringbone; my grandson saw tire tracks.
This one has a bit of an Oriental feel to it.
I wasn’t sure how this one would turn out, but I love how the chicken wire looks.
Being able to hang them or use a stand is important in a photo frame and, of course, having the option of portrait or landscape orientation is a must!
All in all, I think they turned out pretty well.

Nice designs! Looks like the design allows photos to be changed out easily too.

Every one of this looks fantastic! The back design is great that it can hang or use the stand.

I like the woven look of the rectangles & squares.

Yes! There is a spacer that they slide in and out of. It works great!

Me too! I almost abandoned the design, but I’m glad I didn’t. It’s just kind of fun!

Thank you! If other folks are like me, they want to be able to change things around. I had to make them as versatile as I could.

Thank you! Placing all those squares and rectangles took a while, but it was worth it.

I like them all, I can’t decide which one I like better. Maybe the wire? How did you attach it? Also how did you construct it? Looks like maybe 3 layers? Regardless, still fantastic.

I like them all but I love the chicken wire.

I like that you used the same picture on all of your frames. It illustrates how the frame affects the look of the picture. Great looking frames.

@djfb Thank you! The chicken wire is cut from wood. I created it as a pattern and I just glued it onto the solid brown piece behind it. There are four layers in total - the stand/hanger back, a spacer, a solid frame to back the decorative layer, and the decorative layer.
