3 wreaths and one made with scrap cutout stars in the USA. Material used is 1/4 Popular
Looks great
“how many wreaths do you see
I… see…. Two… wreaths… “
These came out great. I love that you used scraps from one to make the other!
These are really pretty. I love patriotic stuff.
There are two wreaths on the 2 column entrances and they were identical so I just took a picture of 1
Very nice job on both of those!
Nice! I enjoy putting out patriotic decor.
Maple, walnut & cherry with epoxy filled stars & lacquer finish. CNC carved to create the “waves”.
This is stunning!!! That is year round decor!
Beautiful! How big is it?
After you cut the waving flag affect, how long did it take you to get such a smooth finish? You did a really nice job on your flag.
It’s 22 1/2 x 12" with the thickness varying from 1/2" to 1 1/4" depending on where on the wave it’s measured.
I made it for an auction to support local scholarships so it’s on a stand I make for cutting boards. But it’s got a keyhole hanger slot in the back so it can hang on the wall.
I sanded it using paper up to 320g. Most of it was with a random orbital sander with a thick sponge pad backer to allow it to flex. But it got finished off with hand sanding using flexible sanding pads. After a few coats of poly a final " sanding" using a brown paper grocery bag to burnish it.
I’ve been making a bunch of cutting boards for the scholarship auction. End-grain with walnut inlays. Like this one.
