Just ended up trying out a wet paper towel over the knife and let the forge go to work . Full Power and 225 speed. Not bad for a trial run.

Just a wet paper towel? Does the mark last?
I haven’t scrubbed it or washed it but it looks ok so far. I have rubbed at it and it doesnt go away.
