Kumiko-Style Icosahedron

Things have slowed down slightly with Christmas. Mom has stopped asking me to bring stuff over while my kids are here, and the kids have been helping a lot with the cooking and cleanup duties, so I just cut a few pieces now and then and assembled them while we were all just sitting around chatting. (I’m not good at just sitting with nothing for my hands to do.)

Love the symmetry on the design leading into each face. Nicely done.

No, they show through the top design. I didn’t try to hide them, since I was doing it in walnut and they don’t really stand out anyway.
