Is the frame just three PVC rods?
The leading edge of the wing is a PVC pipe that pivots on the laser cut back plate. There is a thin strip of square PVC that we bowed from end to end to form the trailing edge of the wing. My daughter covered that framework in blue fabric and proceeded to glue all the feathers to the fabric.

This is exactly what I was hopping to see with the glowforge. I’m into cosplay and that is one of the main reasons I purchased one. Your daughter should enter the local cons contest. She would definitely place. Depending on the con it’s usually a really cool prize if not cash.
