Laser engraved potato(e)s (tuber replacement?)

St Paddy’s day is around the corner and that got me thinking - I should mail someone a potato (you can actually mail a potato with proper postage and it’ll get delivered.)

I thought it’d be even cooler to laser engrave the address - you know - for science.

Some guy engraving a potato.

Anyone else have fun wacky uses planned?

Also @dan - proofgrade potatos? In the hopper?

Ooooh, that sounds good!

You realize what this means? We can CUSTOM CUT POTATO CHIPS! Think about it, you’re having everyone over for the big game, and do you have regular oval shaped potato chips? No, that’s for loser parties! Your homemade chips are your team’s logo!

Although in my case would worry about the patriots logo’s tail of his hat having a tough time frying (might be too thin).

So if you cut a potato in half you could laser-engrave a potato stamp?

With all the drama yesterday, I should have named this thread “tuber replacement.”
