Chuckle! Time for breakfast. (Starving!)
I can’t get over that suit lol.
Bet that smelled way better than the leather or acrylic cutting!
Great air time! I like the “they’re almost ready” part the best though. Laser engraved pancakes…can’t wait to try one! Happy VD
The jacket is exceptional, I really like the cooking utensils (are they called utensils?) the flippers
What a great news segment. Love the pancakes and the comment “they’re almost ready”
Very cool – great coverage
How early did they wake to shoot this? @Dan looks exhausted.
But yeah… way awesome pancakes.
The glowforge has a removable crumb tray. The laser head is detachable. I see a dual head version of the glowforge coming: low watt laser head combined with a pancake batter extruder and of course an electric griddle in place of the crumb tray. Pancakebot’s days are numbered.
Im very excite to see how it is almost ready and the funny of the segment
But also a little bit worried… Dan looks a little bit sick or tired I know there is a lot to do but rest well Dan so rest today and eat a lot of pancakes
And Happy Valentines Day to all!!!
It’s a miracle…
I want to try it on a cookie!!!
Fantastic! And you can see from @dan’s hands how much coffee was needed that early in the morning!
I have to eat undecorated pancakes. I feel so bereft.
I have to ask, how did it taste after lasering?
I work in a room full of software engineers - far stranger than anything you can imagine. I seriously want to become a Software Engineer Anthropologist to study the bizarre culture (idioms, costumes, music/literature) - even a food culture which revolves around SPAM Thursdays. Yes, there is a ritual of eating cooked slices of SPAM every Thursday. It is almost a sacrament here. (I get migraines, so I don’t partake.)
When I first showed my coworkers the Glowforge promo video, they made me promise to use it to engrave our corporate logo onto SPAM slices for SPAM Thursday! When that day arrives, I will post pix to the forum here.
Please!
I know it has been said repeatedly before, but the Glowforge Staff strongly suggest you should NEVER use a glowforge on edibles after it has been used with non-edibles. Getting wood or plastic particles in your food can be hazardous, and non-tasty!
good to know - I will keep that in mind
