Forgot to make an eclipse projector? Make one in a few minutes with any piece of opaque scrap and this design:
Do NOT look at the eclipse directly though the holes!!!
With your back to the Sun, hold the viewer so that the shadow is projected on the ground in front of you. You’ll see the ellipsis (sic) in the center of the oval shadow.
