Finished is better than perfect! I had to replace my old iPad, but didn’t want to pay out the $$ for a protective cover. Using the design in the catalog, I used some whimsical elements since I didn’t expect it to be: a) so easy, and b) so hard.
Measuring and cutting were easy (I made an inner liner as an afterthought; it’s stitched in between the panels). Stitching and not getting the leather stained were the hard parts. Thank goodness for a stitching pony, but my thumbs still hurt.
The iPad and its pencil fit in the case although the pencil has to be stuffed in 2nd, so it can’t charge. At least they stay together and are drop-proof!
