Ok so I never tried doing leather patches on hats before. I bought these premade ones from Amazon. I was wondering, do I just need to use a hat press or iron on it as is or does it need some special backing other than what is on it? Any tips and possibly a recommendation for heat press.

It definitely depends on the listing. That looks like an iron on, but it could just be their protective film. I’m always a proponent for sewing them on, but there’s definitely an added level of difficulty with that - especially if you’re doing anything like bulk.

Didn’t see any. Was just a large box but I believe it said it was an iron on.
