Back in the day the term was considered accurate, until genetic sequencing firmed up the species. My dad always referred to skunks by that name.

These are awesome patches! I am very curious how you create them, as I am a leather worker myself! The edges of the carvings look beveled, did you score them and bevel yourself? Or make a beveled stamp with Delrin or another material?
Any insights would be great, thanks! (Also, I apologize if I just missed another post explaining your process, just saw these and thought I’d ask.)

I make a Delrin stamp on the Glowforge to stamp the leather rather then a swivel knife due to the size and more detail.

how hard is it to dye them after stamping? the detail seems like it would be very hard.
