I made a template for a rear cinch pouch for a saddle and then I ended up just cutting the base with the GF. The front and flap were both hand tooled. Seems to fit perfect!
This turned out great. Beautiful tooling!
Very nice!
Looks amazing

Beautiful work!
Looks great.
Out of curiosity what goes in it?
The pouch itself is 4.5”x8”x1.5”. The intended use is for a cell phone and wallet or just whatever. People are going to think “why would you need a wallet to trail ride?”, but sometimes we gotta stop at the gas station to get drinks or go through McDonald’s. Not even joking . The design may seem a bit odd at first glance, but the intention behind it is to cinch it down. Climbing hills, jumping ditches, and running…everything bounces around and it gets pretty annoying.
The cinch is one of my favorite parts - so much easier to get things in and out if they’re not flailing about!
Oh, I want to be the car behind you when you do that… what a cool sight!
