Hello everyone!
I was curious to know if anybody has ever made a lithopane lamp out of wood and insert the actual lithopane? I have a 3D printer and wanted to make more lithopane lamps but wanted to make the base out of wood instead of 3D printing it. I use Inkscape and silhouette studio. I’m not sure how I can go about making something like that on those two programs but if there’s a file that somebody already made, I’d be more than happy to buy the file. Thanks!

The changes are:
overall slightly smaller, at this size it lights up perfectly with a standard tea light candle.

I’m not quite sure what you mean, but I remember this from a while ago. I only remembered because it was the first time I’d seen the word lithopane.

You can do it with cardstock even:
I had a pack of double-sided white-core cardstock from ages ago and never got around to trying it out. Well, I’ve tried it now, and I love the result!

The paper has a slight woven tooth to it, which comes through beautifully when lasered.

Really pleased with the quality. Hard to believe this was made with a glowforge.

Worth mentioning: The vertical banding is not in the art. I suspect it’s down to variations in the paper, thickness of the color layer, changing de…
