I think the question was brought up before to have a Local Cloud/Server to run the Glowforge. @dan has basically said its possible but not currently a priority. The quote is below.
On the flip side, if you are willing to do the work for free, maybe @dan will change his mind. But I wouldn’t be surprised if there are other issues to get this working that they just don’t have the bandwidth to deal with as of yet.
