Hi all,
I’m working with a mirror acrylic that leaves some raised edges after cutting. I’ve noticed if I double the mask it solves the issue, are there thicker tapes out there so I dont have to use so much?
Thank you!

You’re probably overpowering the cut.
I’d try this:
You want to give it just enough power to make it through the material reliably.
“You’re probably overpowering the cut.”
This.
Masking doesn’t magically prevent the acrylic from melting, it’s just attenuating the power. Reduce the power, problem solved.
Thanks! I’ll give it a shot. I really appreciate it!
Thank you!
