Machine Knitting Pattern Tool

More Bling! in this one. I have an LK-150 (a mid-gauge flat-bed knitting machine). The needles are spaced at 6.5mm. It comes with two pattern tools, but anything else must be tediously hand-manipulated. With this you position the teeth behind the needles you want drawn forward for pattern work.

I have a cheap knitting machine collecting dust. It was more trouble than it was worth. Maybe someday I’ll get a good one and enjoy it.

You are making improvements and innovations right and left. The knitting machine company should commission you.

Gosh, that is so cool—I love this type of project! Making your own pattern tools frees you from having to rely on the commercial suppliers that just don’t have enough variety available. You could supply other knitters!

Stay on me about it. I still need to do a video of a drop spindle, the rag shuttle re-entry, and the knit tool.
