Maker Caddies

Thanks, I didn’t catch that…and I didn’t realize draftboard came in 1/4" as well as 1/8". What is does tell me is that 1/4" anything should work…hopefully.

Keep in mind that the reason :glowforge: refers to “medium” and “thick” instead of measurements is because there is (across the entire industry) an acceptable variance in materials - so always measure (or use set-focus)!

I used thick maple plywood. came out well

I ended up using 5mm plywood from Home Depot and it came out great. It was a lot of work but my Dad absolutely loved it.

Wow! That looks great!

What setting did you use and what material type did you choose?

Can’t discuss custom settings in this forum. Plenty of discussion over in Beyond the Manual.

For the ones I made (at the beginning of the post) I used Proofgrade Thick Draftboard and settings.
