Just wanted to share an incredible plugin for the creation of SVG cut files - specifically for Fusion 360 users.

MapBoards - MapBoards Pro - SaveAsSVG - Icarus Soft Landings

I’ve been using it for a couple years now, and it just keeps getting better. Work in Fusion 360, and one click export to SVG cut files with tons of options include kerf, cutouts, insets, shape packing and more.

Game changing tool here, for Fusion 360 users who own a Glowforge.

Thanks for this! I’m going to check it out right now.

I’m using the Shaper Origin plugin currently. It’s worked flawlessly, but it requires you to click on each face to export, which can be tedious on a complex build.

Thanks, most of my things start in F360, and I have been using the shaper plug in so I will give this a serious look.

I currently have the F360 subscription that includes the Arrange feature, and I’ve gotten used to setting up a manufacturing model, using Arrange for layout, and producing an SVG with the Colorific post processor. But that’s a lot of setup every time, and this might be worth the price to save the extra steps.
