First cut (after the Founder’s Ruler, of course), on medium Proofgrade hard maple. Used a snowflake design I’d done a year or two ago in Illustrator, turned out even better than I’d anticipated. The maple is surprisingly sturdy for something like this, even sturdy enough (and the right size) to use as a coaster. Hmm, I sense a business opportunity…
