Ugh - quality control issues on what was a good brand is always a pain 
Off Amazon I’ve used this Greenstar transfer tape and it’s been just fine.
There’s also this lovely thread-of-threads with a bunch of recommendations (including mine above) but also for buying in closer to bulk.
