A while back I did this memorial plaque for a team at work that lost one of their members to cancer. Learned a lot about tuning photos to laser well. Pulled a vector of the Saint Marys River from a custom Google map. All in Proofgrade plywoods, acrylic, and a draftboard base. Some of those acrylic pieces were very tricky to assemble and glue! Glad they liked it

I am reminded of William Least Heat Moon’s works. He is so good at connecting geography to the deep story. You have made what is a lasting testament to a human being who connected with a place. And that is a value that lasts forever.
