These are very nice. I m sure they will be loved by the recipients. When you engrave photos, do you do it without the masking?

Depends some on the picture. I’ve done it both ways. Easier to clean post without, if you keep the settings low enough, but easier to dial in the settings for a picture with masking on.

The problem I run into with the mask is on the lighter areas of the engrave, you get most of the way through the mask but not the adhesive. That leaves a gummy residue.

I’ve had some of that, but that’s why I keep tape (Duct, Gorilla, and sometimes others) around.
