He must have been extraordinary pet as he found a place in your hearts in 3 short years.

All our pets have been rescues, and I have lost 2 in 15 years. It is never easy.

That he was. We learned so much from him about dogs with disabilities. People would doubt us when we told them he was blind. He had the house and yard mapped out in a couple of days and could run full speed through both.
We have 2 other lab rescues now, but even there the house feels empty without Gordon.
