Mistborn book nook of Luthadel

I used 3mm proof grade draftboard, air dry clay, a 3D printer, LED strips and some cotton balls.

I made the box with https://makeabox.io/ and designed Vin and Kredik Shaw with Illustrator using artwork as an inspiration. Then engraved the map and chart on either side.

It’s just for personal use - I made it for a friend’s bookshelf, but I thought it came out really well!

I totally agree. First pic made me think it would have benefited with some detail etched in, but then that second picture…

The red glow really kicks it up. Of course, I keep red and blue vases on my window ledge to enjoy their glow when the sun hits.
