Mod Podge- is it safe?

If I glue fabric onto MDF with Mod Podge, is it safe to cut?
I mean, is this glue laser friendly?
I’m talking intricate designs, too detailed to scissor or blade cut and attach the cut fabric after the MDF is cut. Thanks

Plaid has over 40 products that carry the Mod Podge label. Check the SDS for the one you plan to use.

“In general”, the most common ones are primarily acrylic suspended in a bunch of solvents, just like craft paint, but you need to make sure there’re no dangerous component in the one you are using.

Mod Podge is generally not a paint. It’s a PVA glue. Definitely check the SDS form, but the basic Mod Podge is definitely safe.

Thanks guys, I’ll look into it further. Cheers

Since this question is about materials from another company, we can’t offer support. Materials may vary widely from piece to piece, even if they’re created by the same manufacturer. I’m going to move it to Beyond the Manual so other folks here can help.
