More beads + lasers

This was meant to be a quick experiment to see how well I could bead over acrylic paint. Turns out it works really well. I was also trying a new beading method, so the moon got a bit wonky. The character of it made me think of craftsman style and woodcuts though, so I used an old illustration to make a frame for it. Really enjoying the ability to just laser up frames for my art.

The wonky-ness of the new beading technique on the moon emphasizes the “touch of the maker” that is what handcrafted is all about! It makes it a better piece, especially acting as a foil against the precision of the laser cut elements :heart_eyes_cat::heart_eyes_cat::heart_eyes_cat:

The beading really stands out against the blue. Love the illustration you added to the frame.
