Lol yes I tried to hook cubes into a chain but got a little lost. But I am pretty sure someone tried this before if you look hard enough on internet

I know some days I can’t count, but it looks like the pen holder has a pentagonal shape. Or am I misinterpreting the angles?

No it’s a hexagon. It’s the same box as the plain hexagon box only with a pattern.
