Just wanted to share some of the projects I recently completed.
My wife and I just celebrated our 5th anniversary a few days ago and as it was the wood anniversary we thought we’d make each other a glowforge project. In reality I made both of them but Have no doubt she could have if we had the time for her to learn at the moment.
The hand mirror is my design. It is maple and walnut hardwood to make the frame and then mirrored acrylic for the mirror portion. My inlays weren’t perfect, but a little walnut dust from the random orbital sander mixed with wood glue makes the gaps all but disappear!
The clock was a collaborative project with my wife. She wanted to try to do it all herself but with a 2 month old demanding her attention that was difficult. It’s Gallifreyan for any of the non-whovians out there. The center is a quote “Take time to do what makes your soul happy”.
