To date, this is probably the cleanest bamboo engraving I’ve had yet. My mom is going to love this massive cutting board and it’s flippable so she can have it decorative for one side and usable for the other!

Yeah, unfortunately I didn’t make the scripting and I did not realize that they didn’t weld them properly. Looking at the file in inkscape everything looked welded and it was supposedly all one piece but it definitely did not read. As such, I will more than likely next time screenshot it and then clip the the black text from the screenshot rather than trusting that whoever designed it knew what they were doing cuz clearly they didn’t

Oh absolutely, I’ve had a few minor successes and a few major failures, but this one I’d have to say is probably the best overall and pretty consistent throughout the entire cut too. Even with doing it with no masking, I did not have any flashing or anything that I had to clean up around the edges so it must have been properly dried to say the least

While WE may all know there was a welded letter problem, not everyone would. My first impression was it was just a fancy font. So don’t sweat it. Your mom is going to love it.

Turning the fill off and on will make that issue clear. Hitting Union will also solve the issue. I rarely use text but never trust it without checking such things.
