Here is what my Bond sub looks like in my garage. Along with another one of the best reasons to want to go out in my garage. My 1970 VW dune buggy which also has a lot of fiberglass work, 3D printing, and of course Glowforge projects in it.

Ooh, thanks for the pic! Love not only the Bond sub, but that dune buggy is amazing! I have a nephew in California who’s really into (or was, haven’t seen any pics lately) dune buggies. Love the red!!

Certainly one of the coolest projects I’ve seen on here—if not the coolest. Well done!

Instead of hanging it on the wall, have you considered placing it in a very large fish tank? Some sharks or piranhas maybe?

Love the dune buggy.

The words retired industrial engineer sound like nothing but fun is going to happen! Nice! Wow! Impressive project!

A friend of mine and I discussed the idea of adding a sea creature to the sub. It was decided that an octopus would be a great idea. Something I will have to play with sometime in the future. LOL

You are half correct. Yes it is fun to be sure. No I was not an engineer. I was and now am a retired industrial designer. (Definition of what an industrial designer does? The Engineer thinks up some wiz-bang idea and throws it over to the Designer and says "Here… You make it work!) LOL

Confession time. I don’t always read every word of every post. I mostly just like the picture. :innocent::rofl::face_with_peeking_eye:

so I was looking at the pictures and saw the door in the background and the scale of this hit me :exploding_head:

well done! I love it and hope you will be giddy about it every time you pull in for years to come.
