My GT6 blueprint was made with 1/8th inch acrylic not 1/4 inch to keep the weight down on the display. On the display is a view showing the rear of the GT6. The images of the car were scored and the wording was engraved. Both of these being done on the back side of the acrylic to keep the front face smooth once it was assembled. The display is made up of two layers. A clear layer for the images of the car and the text and a blue acrylic mounted behind it. This gives you the look of a blueprint without every having to paint anything. A simple frame was made and glued to the back of the blue acrylic to offset the display from the wall when it is hung on the wall.
