Nice. I have toyed with the idea of an external fan as everyone talks about how quiet they are. But, not sure i am saavy enough to do it…

it will cost ya a couple of hundy, for the stuff you need. But its a pretty easy procedure.
if you post a picture of your setup (the vent / pipe / etc) I am sure one of out helpful ‘staff’ ME will guide you!

It’s amazing what you will hear with different shapes.

Sounds like a DJ scratching vinyl! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

LOVE my in-line fan! (And am still amazed someone as non-handy as me managed to hook it all up.) Enjoy the “music to your ears”!

Geeky me, I think it sounds like R2-D2 boops & beeps.

Here’sa pic of my current setup…

Ok, similar to mine!

you put the fan (mounted on the sill) in between the hose) (two short instead of one long) may not be the prettiest, BUT it sure is a LOT quieter!!!

I went for a fixed duct, so my GF can hug the wall closer.

Thanks, i’ll do a search on types of fans again and think about this:-)

the inline infinity is the go to fan round these parts!

Stepper motors are the most amazing things.
