Dominoes are insanely useful in Rube Goldberg style contraptions. I forget the precise ratio, but a domino can knock over a larger following domino. This allows you to add energy to the overall system.
So if you do want larger Domino’s, I would encourage a set of 5 “growing” bricks.
I think a good way to think of it is that the top of the previous domino has to strike above the center of gravity of the next domino
Yes, ideal world that is all you need. But since I had the time for it tonight I looked for the ratio. Growth factor for real world application is 1.5x
