You could of course create that effect - by filling in the scores with some kind of gold before pulling off the masking.

Found this thread when I noticed all of @hansepe’s rocket pics in the Pictures only no words thread. I’m a NASA Solar System Ambassador (and astronomy prof), so I’ll definitely be making this…and sending the link to my son who’s an aerospace engineer at Rocket Lab working on Neutron. He has glowforged many a rocket (including on the lid of his MacBook).
