One of our forum members likes to jokingly pronounce it neodidlium. That’s a pain right there…sorry!

I don’t remember how he spelled it…it was Marion. You might be right. It pretty much pronounces the same way, though.

I use it too…most of the time. Because for some reason I cannot remember neodymium…probably a pinhole in the brain from a random micro-meteor strike.

I just go with “Samarium Cobalt”. It’s old school.
