i haven’t had much time to play with this, been busy with sessions and tonight was the big bash (Rev Run from Run DMC performing), but one of Adobe’s big announcements this week was text to vector generative AI in Illustrator. I only did a couple of prompts to share w/my team at work, but it looks pretty darn good to me. this isn’t really laserable, but i’m sure with some prompt practice i’ll be using this for lasering.
first, I typed in “black, female doctor wearing scrubs and a lab coat and stethoscope walking down a hallway" (we do a lot of healthcare business, so this is a relevant prompt for us).
this was the first result (no regen, just first result).
then i generated a scene to go behind her. I don’t remember the exact prompt for the background, but it was something along the lines of “elegant, two story lobby space in a hospital in blues and greens with sofas and a reception desk.”

I was wondering what you may have heard regarding the iOS apps. It seems like development on Illustrator for iPad has really slowed if not stopped. I hope they aren’t abandoning the platform.
I haven’t really seen much on iOS stuff. but it’s not really on my radar here. i haven’t seen much on Ai for iOS in a while. the biggest thing they seem to be pushing (other than AI in everything) is adobe express.
