As everyone else has so kindly mentioned - acrylic is totally fine to vent. I do find that the awful acrylic smell is non existent with the compact filter vs gag inducing without it. Part of that is that I can leave it running as long as I want after a cut is done to keep sucking up the fumes . (The internal GF fan only runs for a minute or so after a cut) A vented system with an in-line fan would do the same thing.

Conveniently, acrylic seems to have very negligible filter clogging properties.

Just want to send you a welcome. My suggestion is to just start making things. It’s hard to feel bad when you’re making great stuff. :slight_smile:
