Just starting to kick the tires on the Illustrator update. There is now global edit, it is kinda like creating a symbol. I am wondering if it might be able to be used for simple parametric designs.

I can see Freeform Gradients being pretty amazing.
The variable fonts were already in cc 2018.
I can’t update to the new version until my plotter plug-in gets updated (learned that the hard way last time around, had to fall back to cs5 on the backup laptop)

Yeah, plugins can kill you. We’re stuck on indesign cc17 at work because of a DAM plugin. They update slowly.
I really hope they fixed the SVG bugs. I had to go through hell to even get them reported.
