Conversion of a photo I took a few years ago, printed on maple
Here’s the original for reference
That came out really nice! You nailed it!
WOW! So awesome. Can I ask how you converted and what setting you used. This is stunning!
Wow…your engraving is great. I like yours better than the color picture. Super job.
Very nice photo prep, great detail!
Thank you! This was done on 1/4 maple, 3D engrave at 1000/90/270.
I actually had Mike Freitas convert it from jpg as I’m still learning myself. It is converted to grayscale and contrast increased, then sharpened and dithered. Mike has some amazing images and was kind enough to help with mine
You did a fantastic job on this!
Wow, that’s stunning! Great job!
Gorgeous work - and yeah, getting a photo adjusted just right is a work of art all on its own!
FYI we have to keep non PG settings in the Beyond the Manual section of the forum (per the lawyers). Can you either post this information in BtM and link to that here - or move your entire post to BtM?
Turned out well. Love the original photo also!
Sorry about that! Moved to the correct location
Thank you It’s not terribly clear on their descriptions and we almost all get it wrong early on.
Love the photo … and it looks great engraved!
