Welcome to the forum. There aren’t a lot of super shortcuts except the Glowforge approved designs in the shop. They’re a good place to start and have some quick wins as you get going.
Here’s a good primer to get you started, read as much as you can stand, it’s all good. You’ll be an expert in short order!
