Autodesk is now offering Sketchbook for free. I’ve not really used this software or anything like it, except for in the past hour of playing around with it. With that in mind, it’s pretty fun to use, it’s kind of in the middle between Photoshop and MSPaint. I’m using a Microsoft Surface with a stylus and it feels very natural to use. Supernatural if you will, it’s like I’m able to draw something and it will look, at least, mildly better than if I were to do it on paper… yeah I’ve got dismal 
skills.
Will this replace everyone’s image editing software? Surely not. But, maybe for the more artistically inclined it could be another tool in their belt. And for the rest of us, it’s at least fun to use.
