I don’t have time for any more hobbies, but this makes me really want to try making paper mache dragons!
That level of craftsmanship is out of my reach I’m afraid. But it was fun to read about.
Yeah, I’ve had to exclude any hobby potential for now if it doesn’t include either laser or 3D printer.
The sad thing is how many manufacturer’s prescribing inserts I end up with that just end up getting thrown in recycling. They’re printed on large sheets of thin paper that would probably be great for paper mache–if only I had time for another hobby!
This goes well beyond hobby in my world.
If you are going to all that work perhaps Celastic would be a better medium. And you could justify it by cutting all the bits with the Glowforge.
